Sept 1st saw the start of the 2013-14 Clipper Race. RYYC member Oliver Cotterell is one of the youngest skippers in this event. OneDll has now left Rio 4th and is taking a southerly course to South Africa hoping to be the first to the Southerly Trades.
Another pair who started their racing here at Bridlington Richard Jordan and Richard Bullock clocked up an impressive overall win at Cowes Week in their XOD "LASS" sailing in a fleet of 79 boats.
